JORD Watch Review and Competition

You may have already seen a few reviews in the blogsphere recently of the JORD Luxury Wood Watches, everyone seems to have been sent one to try out, even little old me! So here’s my review of the JORD watches, and how you can win a hefty discount on one yourself!

To start with I have to say that Ben at JORD was a delight to communicate with, he kept me up to date with the way my delivery was progressing and I even had an email with tracking details on it to keep me informed. I think this would have been standard for all customers as well.

Even though the watch was being shipped from America it really didn’t take too long to arrive. There was a small¬†duty to be paid before I could collect my parcel, but I think this is pretty standard if receiving a package from abroad.

The packaging really stood out as something special to me, the box it came in was beautifully made with the JORD logo, and the little cushion and cleaning cloth were a nice touch, the cushion also happens to be a great size for small teddies to sleep on we discovered as well!

Just look at it!

I did find the watch to be a little too big to start with, even though I gave my measurements at the order stage, however it grew on me this way, and in fact because I have small wrists and the watch is a bit chunky it works quite well to wear it as a bracelet style, otherwise it might feel a bit uncomfortable.

Another thing I think I have to mention is the very small details on this watch, the tiny logo on the winder, the engraving on the back of the watch itself, the precise detailing on the face of the watch. Everything is very accurate and well done, and that’s something I really appreciate. You can also choose to have the JORD watches and presentation boxes engraved with personal messages as well which is a lovely idea for a gift I think.

When wearing my JORD watch I’ve had a fair few comments about it, lots of people have been asking where I bought it from, and I haven’t tired of wearing it yet. The quality is outstanding, it’s a bit different and even though I am hopeless with fashion this watch seems to go well with anything I happen to wear.

The particular watch I received was the Fieldcrest Dark Sandalwood watch, and it retails at $139 which equates to about ¬£110 (plus postage and duty), and I personally would consider this to be more than a fair price, it’s is excellent quality, stylish, and unique. I even have my eye on one of their Purpleheart watches, maybe I’ll put it on my Christmas list!

Ultimately I really love this watch and as someone who has trouble being on time I think it’s a great addition to my favourite things!
